In short
Rain.gg launched in 2024, which makes it the youngest site among the ones we rate below 3.0, and that youth is the biggest thing holding it back. The basics are in place: roulette, cases, battles and an upgrader, provably fair results, crypto and skin payouts, and a clean layout. But there's no long track record to lean on, the site is English only, and some features may ask for identity verification. It earns 2.8 as a promising site that hasn't yet proven itself.

Full review
Rain.gg opened in 2024. In this market, that matters more than almost anything else on the page.
Skin gambling sites live on trust. Players hand over skins and crypto with no regulator standing behind them, so the main thing you're judging is whether a site keeps paying people over years, through market dips and Valve rule changes. CSGOEmpire and CSGORoll have been doing that since 2016. Rain.gg has had about two years. Nothing we found suggests it's doing anything wrong, but two years isn't long, and our 2.8 rating reflects that as much as anything about the games.
We're also not going to repeat ownership claims we can't confirm. Judge it on how it behaves, and keep your exposure small until it has a longer record.
What code CSGOCORN gets you
The welcome offer is free cases plus a deposit bonus, billed on the site as Rain Rewards. Sign up through our link, log in with Steam, and enter CSGOCORN in the promo field if it isn't already applied. The free cases and the deposit bonus are both tied to the code, so apply it before your first deposit, not after.
We'd normally quote exact amounts here. Rain.gg shows them at sign-up, and offers on newer sites change often enough that we'd rather you read the live terms. Pay attention to two things: the minimum deposit for the bonus (the site minimum is $5) and whether the bonus has to be wagered before you can withdraw. If it does, our article on bonus codes and wagering shows how to work out what it's really worth.
Bonus value scored 5.0. Free cases plus a match isn't a bad structure, but nothing about the offer beats what the larger sites already give away.
One note before you sign up: Rain.gg is closed to players in the US and UK. Getting around that with a VPN breaks the terms and is a reliable way to end up with a frozen balance.
Roulette is the main event
Roulette heads Rain.gg's game list, and it's the mode we'd actually play there. It's the classic skin-site wheel: pick a color, wait for the spin, get paid if you're right. Rounds are short. Skin roulettes typically show a strip of recent results, but those tell you nothing about the next spin.
The math is worth a minute. On a typical 15-slot skin roulette with 7 red, 7 black and 1 green, colors pay 2x and green pays 14x. Bet on red and you win 7 times in 15, so your expected return is 7/15 × 2 = 0.933, a house edge of about 6.7%. Green works out the same: 1/15 × 14 = 0.933. Count the slots on Rain.gg's wheel and check the payouts yourself, because that's where the edge lives. Our roulette guide covers the common variants.
That edge is higher than a well-run dice game, which surprises people. Roulette feels social and simple, and it is, but it isn't cheap to play.
One habit to drop before you start: doubling your bet after every loss. The Martingale system looks foolproof on paper, because one win on a color recovers everything. In practice a run of eight or nine losses on a 7-in-15 color happens more often than people expect, and by then you're staking hundreds of times your starting bet to win back one unit. The wheel has no memory, and the edge applies to every spin, big or small.
Cases, battles and an upgrader
The rest of the lineup is standard. Cases are site-made, so they don't follow Valve's published odds (79.92% Mil-Spec down to 0.26% for knives and gloves); Rain.gg sets the contents and chances itself, and the average return is below the case price, as on every case site. Battles let you open the same cases against other players for the combined pot. The upgrader lets you stake an item for a chance at a more expensive one, with your odds shown before you commit.
A quick sanity check for the upgrader: if you put up a $10 skin for a $20 target, a fair chance would be 50%. Whatever the site shows below that is its cut. Our guide to upgrader odds has more examples.
None of it is bad. None of it is a reason to pick Rain.gg either. Four modes is a reasonable spread, but bigger sites offer the same four plus crash, plinko and mines, which is why game variety scored 5.5.
Deposits, withdrawals and the Trade Protection wait
Deposits are straightforward: ten cryptocurrencies, a card, or CS2 skins. No gift cards, PayPal or bank transfer. Crypto lands once the network confirms it. If you pay by card, look at the final amount on the payment screen before you confirm, since card deposits on skin sites often pass through a third-party processor and can cost more than the same deposit in crypto.
Skins take longer, and that's not Rain.gg's fault. Since Valve introduced Trade Protection in mid-2025, the original owner can reverse a trade for seven days afterward. Sites that accept skins either wait out that window before crediting you or credit you with conditions attached. Our explainer on P2P vs bot skin deposits covers how sites have adapted.
Withdrawals come in the same ten coins or as skins. Crypto is the faster route; skins depend on the trade going through, and a withdrawn item will carry CS2's 7-day trade cooldown in your inventory. Payout speed scored 5.5. Cashouts work, but larger withdrawals can take longer than they would on the top sites, so don't plan around getting a big win out the same hour.
Read the KYC rules before you deposit
Rain.gg doesn't require ID for normal play. Some features may, though, and that's the kind of detail you want to know before you have a balance on the site rather than after.
Our advice is the same on every site with conditional verification. Check the terms for what triggers a check. If you're planning to deposit meaningful amounts, find out whether you'd be asked for ID on withdrawal, and decide up front if you're comfortable with that. The worst outcome is winning, requesting a withdrawal, and only then discovering you need to send documents to a site you know little about.
If you do verify, upload documents only through the site's own account pages. Nobody legitimate will ask for your ID over Discord, Steam chat or email out of the blue.
English only, and other day-to-day notes
The interface is the strongest part of Rain.gg. It's clean, quick and easy to learn, and the mobile version works properly. But the site is English only. For a CS2 audience spread across Europe, South America and Asia, that's a real gap, and it also matters for support: if you're arguing a withdrawal issue in your second language, you're at a disadvantage.
Support itself scored 5.0, the lowest of the six categories along with bonus value. It handles simple questions. We'd want to see it handle disputes well over a longer period before scoring it higher.
Five checks before trusting a site this young
- Start small. Deposit an amount you'd be fine losing, play a little, and request a small withdrawal early. How that first cashout goes tells you more than any review.
- Verify the provably fair system. Rain.gg shows a hashed server seed before play, lets you set your client seed, and uses a nonce per bet. Rotate the seed and check a few results. Our provably fair guide walks through it.
- Check your Steam API key. Phishing copies of newer sites are common. Visit your Steam API key page; if a key exists that you didn't create, revoke it, change your password and deauthorize other devices.
- Use the mobile authenticator. Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator avoids long trade holds and protects your inventory if your password leaks.
- Don't leave a balance sitting. If you're not playing, withdraw. A newer site holding your money is a risk you don't need to take.
Older sites with the same games
CSGOEmpire is the obvious alternative for roulette. It's been running since 2016, scores 4.5 with us, and roulette is its signature game. CSGORoll, also from 2016, adds crash, plinko, mines and dice to the cases and battles. If you want a newer site with momentum, Clash.gg launched in 2023 and already scores 4.3.
The one real argument for a younger site is that it has to work for your business. Newer platforms tend to be more responsive to feedback and quicker to fix things that annoy players. If Rain.gg uses its next couple of years well, it could climb our rankings. That's a bet on the future, though, and we score sites on what they are now.
Where we land on Rain.gg
It's a decent site with nothing seriously wrong and nothing that makes it essential. Give it another year or two of consistent payouts and its trust score will move up on its own. For now, 2.8 feels right.
Like every site we cover, Rain.gg is 18+ only. Roulette rounds are short and it's easy to play far more of them than you meant to, so set a limit before the first spin. If you'd like to talk to someone, Gambling Therapy offers free support internationally, and our responsible gambling page lists more organizations and blocking tools.
Our verdict
Rain.gg suits players who like roulette and cases, are comfortable on a newer site, and are happy to keep balances small while it builds a reputation. Skip it if you want a long track record, need a language other than English, or would rather not deal with possible ID checks. CSGOEmpire and CSGORoll offer the same core games with years of history behind them, and both score far higher with us.
Visit Rain.ggRain.gg FAQ
Is Rain.gg legit?
Rain.gg is a real, working site with provably fair games and normal crypto and skin withdrawals. It only launched in 2024, though, so it has a short track record and we'd keep balances small.
What is the Rain.gg promo code?
Use CSGOCORN, or sign up through our link. You get free cases plus a bonus on your deposit, and the exact terms are shown when you register.
Does Rain.gg require KYC?
Normal play doesn't need it, but some features may ask you to verify your identity. Check what's required before depositing, not after a win.
How do I withdraw from Rain.gg?
You can cash out in ten cryptocurrencies or as CS2 skins. Crypto is usually quicker; skins depend on a Steam trade going through and then carry a 7-day trade cooldown.
Can I use Rain.gg in the US or UK?
No. Both are restricted. Playing through a VPN breaks the terms and can get your account and balance frozen.
Is Rain.gg available in other languages?
No. The site is English only at the moment, which is a real drawback for players outside English-speaking countries.
