In short

Insane.gg has been running since 2020 and offers six modes: crash, roulette, plinko, mines, cases and an upgrader. The headline is a 100% match on your first deposit, which looks generous until you start asking about wagering. Behind that, the picture is weak. Trust, payouts and user experience all scored 5.0, support scored 4.5, player feedback is mixed, and some features may need ID verification. It shares the lowest rating we give, 2.5, and most players will find a better version of the same games elsewhere.

Full review

Most sites near the bottom of our rankings lead with something modest: a free case, a dollar, a small percentage. Insane.gg leads with a 100% match on your first deposit, easily the loudest welcome offer in this part of the table.

It's also the main thing we want to talk about, because the bonus is the reason most people sign up and it's where most of them get the math wrong. The rest of the site is a reasonable set of instant games sitting on top of the joint-lowest trust and support scores in our rankings. Insane.gg shares the lowest rating in our rankings, 2.5, with DatDrop.

The 100% bonus, and why it only scored 4.5

A 100% match sounds simple. Deposit $50, get $50 extra, play with $100. The catch is that bonus money almost always comes with a wagering requirement: you have to bet a multiple of the bonus (or of the bonus plus deposit) before you can withdraw anything tied to it.

That's where the value goes. Every bet you place carries a house edge, so every dollar you're required to wager costs you a little on average. The higher the rollover, the more of the bonus you burn just clearing it.

Here's an illustration using a $50 bonus and a 4% average house edge. These aren't Insane.gg's actual terms; they're there so you can plug in the real numbers when you read them.

Rollover on the bonusTotal you must wagerExpected cost at 4% edgeWhat the $50 is really worth
10x$500$20About $30
20x$1,000$40About $10
30x$1,500$60Less than nothing

Those are averages, and real results swing wildly around them, but the direction is clear. A 100% match with a heavy rollover can be worth less than a plain 5% deposit bonus with no strings. That's why bonus value scored 4.5 despite the big number.

Before you deposit, look for five things: the maximum bonus amount, the wagering multiple, which games count toward it (and at what rate), any maximum bet while the bonus is active, and how long you have to clear it. Our guide to bonus codes and wagering requirements walks through each one.

Claiming it with CSGOCORN

  1. Open Insane.gg through our link and sign in with Steam. Confirm the login page is on steamcommunity.com.
  2. Enter CSGOCORN in the promo code field if the link hasn't applied it.
  3. Read the bonus terms on the deposit page, then make your first deposit. The site minimum is $5.

One more rule to look for: on most sites, withdrawing before the wagering is cleared means losing the bonus and anything you won with it. If you think you might want your money out quickly, a match bonus can tie it up longer than you'd like.

If the terms look bad, you don't have to take the match. Depositing without a bonus is sometimes the smarter play, because your balance stays yours to withdraw whenever you like.

Six modes, and no case battles

The game list is the best thing about Insane.gg, and even here there's a gap. You get six modes. Battles aren't one of them, which is unusual for a site that sells cases.

Crash

A multiplier climbs from 1.00x and crashes at a random point; you cash out before it does. Crash is quick and easy to understand, and that's the danger. With a house edge built in, your chance of reaching any target is a little under 1 divided by that target, so a 2x cashout succeeds a little under half the time. With a 4% edge, for example, you'd reach 2x about 48% of the time (0.96 ÷ 2) and 10x about 9.6% of the time. Auto-cashout at a fixed target is the sensible way to play. Our article on crash gambling myths covers the strategies that don't work.

Roulette

Standard skin-site roulette: pick a color, wait for the spin. Rounds are fast. On a typical 15-slot wheel the edge on a color bet is around 6.7%, which is higher than most players assume, so check the slot count and payouts on Insane.gg's wheel before you get comfortable.

Plinko and mines

These two are the reason someone might pick Insane.gg over a pure case site. Plinko drops a ball through rows of pegs into multiplier slots, usually with a choice of risk level that changes how extreme the edge slots are. Mines hides a set number of bombs in a grid; each safe tile raises your multiplier, and one bomb ends the round. Both are provably fair, both are quick, and both let you control your risk. Our mines guide explains how the mine count changes the payout curve.

Cases and the upgrader

Cases are site-made, so Valve's official odds (0.64% Covert, 0.26% for a knife or gloves) don't apply. The contents and chances are set by Insane.gg, and the average return sits below the case price. The upgrader works as you'd expect, with odds shown before you commit. Neither is a highlight, and without battles, cases here are a solo activity. If opening cases is what you mostly want, a site with a busy battle mode gives you more to do with them.

Before you send crypto, check the coin

The cashier lists the usual ten coins: Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, USDC, Litecoin, Solana, Tron, XRP, BNB and Dogecoin. Cards, gift cards and CS2 skins also work for deposits. Withdrawals come in crypto or skins.

Coin support has been patchier here than on the bigger sites, though, so don't assume every coin is enabled for withdrawal at all times. Before you deposit in a particular coin, check that the same coin is available on the withdrawal side. And with stablecoins like USDT, make sure you pick the right network: sending on the wrong chain is one of the most common ways people lose crypto. Our explainer on crypto deposits on CS2 sites covers networks and fees.

Fees matter at small sizes. Moving $10 in Bitcoin can cost a noticeable slice of the deposit in network fees, while Litecoin, Solana or Tron are usually much cheaper to send. If you're depositing the $5 minimum, pick a cheap chain.

Skin deposits are slower for everyone since Valve introduced Trade Protection in mid-2025. The original owner can reverse a trade for seven days, so sites either wait out that period or credit you with conditions. Skins you withdraw carry CS2's 7-day trade cooldown.

Verification, support and the mixed reputation

Insane.gg doesn't require ID for normal play, but some features may. Plenty of sites work this way, and it isn't sinister on its own. The problem is timing: discovering you need to verify after you've won and asked for a withdrawal is a bad experience on any site, and it's worse on a site whose support scored 4.5.

That support score is the joint-lowest in our breakdown, alongside bonus value. Trust and payout speed both came in at 5.0. Add mixed player feedback and you get our standard advice for a site at this level: deposit small, request a withdrawal early so you know how it works, and don't leave a balance sitting there between sessions.

The games are provably fair, with a hashed server seed shown before play, a client seed you can change, and a nonce per bet. That proves individual results weren't tampered with. It doesn't tell you anything about how the site handles your withdrawal, which is the part that actually worries us.

Day to day on the site

User experience scored 5.0. Insane.gg works on desktop and on a phone, the games load and the cashier does what it should. Compared with the sites at the top of our rankings, though, it feels less finished, and there's less to bring you back once the welcome bonus is used up. Rewards for regular players aren't a strength.

The other thing worth knowing is how quickly these modes move. Crash, mines and plinko rounds last seconds, and a session of a few hundred bets can pass without you noticing. It isn't a flaw specific to Insane.gg, but a site built around instant games makes it more of a factor.

Sites we'd pick first

CSGOLuck is the direct comparison. It also offers a 100% deposit bonus on sign-up, adds case battles and coinflip to crash, plinko and mines, and scores 3.8 with us. Clash.gg runs seven modes, including the battles Insane.gg lacks, and scores 4.3. CSGORoll has been around since 2016, covers crash, plinko, mines and dice alongside cases and battles, and also scores 4.3.

Any of those three gives you the games that make Insane.gg interesting, with better support and stronger scores across the board.

Who might still use it

A player who wants crash, plinko and mines, reads the bonus terms properly, finds them acceptable and keeps stakes low. That's a narrow group. If that's you, Insane.gg will do the job. If any part of that sentence doesn't fit, pick one of the alternatives above.

Insane.gg is restricted in the US and UK and open to adults 18+ only. Set a budget and a time limit before you start, and if gambling is getting harder to stop, our responsible gambling page has helplines and blocking tools.

2.5Mixed

Our verdict

Insane.gg is only worth trying if you specifically want crash, plinko and mines in one place, you've read the bonus terms and you're comfortable with them, and you keep your balance small. Everyone else should skip it. CSGOLuck runs a similar 100% first-deposit offer with more modes and higher scores, and Clash.gg and CSGORoll are stronger all-rounders by a long way.

Insane.gg FAQ

Is Insane.gg legit?

Insane.gg has run since 2020 and its games are provably fair, so it's a real site. Its trust and support scores are low and feedback is mixed, though, so we'd only use it with small balances.

What is the Insane.gg promo code?

Use CSGOCORN, or sign up through our link. It gives a 100% match on your first deposit, subject to the site's cap and wagering terms.

Is the 100% deposit bonus worth it?

It depends on the wagering requirement and which games count. A low rollover makes it decent value; a high one can make it worth very little, so do the math before you deposit.

Does Insane.gg require KYC?

Not for normal play, but some features may ask you to verify your identity. Find out what triggers a check before you build a large balance.

Can I play Insane.gg from the US or UK?

No. Both countries are restricted. Using a VPN to get around that breaks the terms and can lead to a frozen account.

Does Insane.gg have case battles?

No. It offers cases, crash, roulette, plinko, mines and an upgrader, but no battle mode. If battles matter to you, Clash.gg is a better choice.
